I don't know if I have posted this one here or not. So I am going to post it again.

Giver

Dimly I can see
What it is you want me to be
Giver not a taker
Follower of the heartbreaker
Hold them close don’t let them go
Sewer of the seed you want me to sew
Dimly I see the way
To neither side will I sway
Not left or right but straight ahead
I won’t stop until I am dead
Reaping until my hands bleed
I go where there is a need
Send me lord let me go
Hurry me if I am too slow
Show me how the givers give
Show me how I am to live

Thank You God

I am so thankful
As I stand here talking I realize
You have blessed me so much
Houses and cars- that’s plural
Clothes and shoes galore
I have more than I ever thought I would
A man beside me and kids to come
Parents behind me, promises to come
When these things are threatened
I don’t worry or begin to pace
You will sustain me and provide
You will help me win the race
