A Prayer for the Lost

Deaf and blind,
they cannot see,
they cannot hear,
they do not fear.

Dead in sin,
they're hell-ward bound,
unforgiven,
lost forever.

It is far too much to bear
to see others miss the Way;
to know they don't believe or fear,
that they've gone totally astray.

If only they could see God's Truth;
if only they would listen.
If only they would turn around
so that Christ could save them.

Holy Spirit, help them see,
open their hearts and ears.
Please Lord Jesus, set them free
and teach them how to fear.
