2 non-frosted pop-tarts (currently strawberry, blueberry and chocolate are available)

Spread thin layer butter/margarine

Pop in toaster oven for 2 min or until GBD (golden-brown and delicious). The chocolate will be hard to tell so you may have to watch.

Like fresh pastry

Regular butter is really not that bad. I remember when I went to my grandmother's house and asked for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I was young then mind you.
She started putting regular butter on it. I of course, being a picky kid, said ick! but she made me eat it assuring me it was good. And loll and beyond, it was good! So now I make my peanut butter sandwiches with it.
Dont put too much on there. Just a thin layer. All it does is add creamyness to it. Makes it smoother to eat. Cant even taste it.

hey you know, aside from the peanut butter thing, there is other absurd thing I found is good.

Get a pickle, cut it into slices into a bowl. Pour some soy sauce in with it sprinkleing it with salt. Its a good snack.

you know I had a Pan fried peanut butter and banana sandwich for the first time like a couple of weeks ago, It was all borne from the sad state of my pantry, but it was good, I've been eating alot of pickles lately too because I have this senselessly huge jar of them...it really takes up a significant portion of the fridge space...its actually pretty sad when all you see in the fridge is like ketchup packets. ranch dressing, 2 year old wasabi paste and like a 12 gallon vat of pickles....not even good pickles like vlasic...just some enormous jar with a poorly drawn cartoon pickle with a label that just says "pickles"....anyway sometimes I cut them up and add garlic powder and cayenne pepper maybe a dash of chili powder or wasabi pasts...it kinda tastes like kimchi...or at least thats what I tell myself because i cant afford to go eat at a real korean restaraunt...so I eat ramen with chopped up hotdogs and pickle slices and pretend its bulgogi...but yeah peanut butter

Oh my goodness, pickles with soy sauce and salt. I think I'd rather suck on a salt lick ;) lol ... yuck, that kinda makes me nauseated. Here's something equally disgusting (and overly sodium'ized) for you. Pickles and popcorn! Strange combo but it matches, somehow. Another odd combination, pickles and maple syrup. Just dip the pickle in the syrup and enjoy. It's really good. I saw it on an episode of "little house on the prairie" when I was a little kid, I immediately tried it and have loved the combo ever since. I also tried milk and pepsi ala Laverne & Shirley. Not a good combo. :(

RE: peanut butter, I like it with either preserves or jam (NOT jelly), bananas and honey or marshmallow fluff. Sometimes I crave just a banana or apple sliced with some peanut butter on the side, with a big glass of milk. Its actually better without the bread.

ah yes. Peanut butter. (btw, the pepsi and milk thing was gross)
A couple other good things, spreading peanut butter on your chocoltae chip cookie.
OR, here's a good one but bare with me. Buy a pack of oreos and open them up and leave them set out over night. Now, when most things go stale, they get hard and nasty but with oreos, it is opposite, they soften. So, do that, and then spread peanut butter on them. its not bad.

Someone mentioned bananas. I like to make smores.
Graham cracker > peanut butter > banana > marshmellow > chocolate > graham cracker.

Hmm hey guys. Ill tell you what, Im going to start a new thread called

Start with refrigerated (for texture) natural peanut butter, the stir it yourself kind, extra crunchy.
Spread it thickly, very thickly, on any very substantial whole grain bread.
Add a layer of your favorite jam, any flavor you like.
Add a second slice of that yummy bread (optional - open face works too).
Eat and enjoy! :pp
