This is the day which the Lord hath made.
To you and I He did give it.
We shall not neglect what God has done.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Greet everyone with a smile,
And remember to be kind.
Neighbor be sure to testify,
To every sinner that you find.

And the brother who has went astray,
Let's pause to help him too.
If it were not for the grace of God,
That brother could be you.

Let's sow the gospel seed
In someone's heart today.
Who is groping now in darkness,
that they might find their way.

Then when we stand before the throne of God,
A way up there in heaven,
We'll be glad that we made the most
of the day that God has given.
