God is awesome!

I just watched my neighbor (17 years old) approach his house with two young girls huddled around him. They had walked through the woods instead of the usual route that the high school kids take from the bus. His parents won't be home for awhile, and I heard an all too familiar giggle from the girls. I walked over to say hello to him and to meet his friends. He and I caught up for a minute and then he said they had to be going. I said goodbye and returned to my house as the three of them rushed into his. I immediately got down on my knees and asked God to drive them all out of that house. I asked Him to deliver them from the evil one and ultimately bring them to repentence, not just of what would go on today - but of all their sins. Sure enough I got up, went into the other room and returned to sit down at the kitchen table only to see them walking past my house, in the opposite direction of theirs, mere minutes after they had tried to sneak in.

I need to trust God more in my life.

I have found myself praying in similar fashion and in similar circumstances, with the same wonderful results. Our Lord is amazing!

Maybe the lord is using me to suggest that you introduce yourself to your neighbor so you can be a friend/witness?

I have, he's a few years younger than I am (I'm 20 and he's nearing the end of high school) and I am getting closer with him. To be honest, I haven't made it a priority though, you're right I should make more of an effort. I'll see if he wants to play basketball tomorrow afternoon when we get home from school. He knew me when I was in high school, I did the same things that he does. Meet girls, hang out behind closed department stores, sneak around and brag about my weekends. Now I love Christ, and I can't wait to tell him about all of this.

Thanks

Chris
