View Full Version : Sooooooo excited Im about to bust!!!

God is blessing me with my "Temple of God" health and fitness program! I've lost 2 lbs and it took 20 days to happen. Even though I was eating right, it just took a little longer to kick in! Im now walking 4 miles 5 days a week. That may sound like a lot to some and it isn't necessary but it works for me and I have a lovely loop to walk. If anyone is interested in seeing how I am eating please write me!! It's all the foods(5 basic) Yes, I eat little processed sugar(I use splenda and honey). Anyway, I think the Lord is going to allow me to serve the folks in my church with this. Many of the christian women in my area are over weight atleast 20 lbs or more. I am so excited. I was near suicide with depression, menopause, weight, migraines. God has pulled me up though and I so want to help others. I pray you will contact me here, or in the Temple of Fitness Group. PS My spiritual life is still first and must always be. The only reason I have been able to do this "right"(His Way)is because I put Him first:):hug: love you gals!!!

Great work :D.

You really feel alot better about everything when youre fit. Really well done its not easy to lose weight. Youre an insperation(did i spell that right?). God bless :hug:.

wear I come from it's bust, but I've heard burst used as well.

Denise, I'm so glad this is working for you! :hug: That walking regimen sounds great... you've reminded me to stop slacking off and start getting more exercise in, so thanks -- I also have a beautiful area here to walk in.

I'm curious about the sorts of foods you're eating. Can you post a sample day's menu here, or would you rather people PM you?

It looks like from the weight thing you weight 2 lbs...:lol: You would have to be a awfully tiny for that! How did you reach the keys on the computer? :lol:

I'm to scared to post any before pictures (we are taking them Saturday even along with my measurements and BFI - I realllllly don't want to see THAT number) I'll probably post em on my personal blog as I'll be in my 2 peice that fit me about 20 years ago roflol

for myself to see the progress. I sure love the energy I have now and the general outlook on the day. I started this because I wanted to look better and now, honestly, I can say, I want to be healthy and be able to serve the Lord much better:) My priorities changed:) I did pray hard that God would give me the willingness:) Charting my food intake and exercise has been so beneficial in fact, without it, I don't think I would be doing so well. I have learned so much about fuel for the body. Love you, in Christ, denise:)

I really have no excuse, many many moons ago I did body building competitions and I got lazy after I had my boys didn't really care anymore...I was a personal trainer for EVER so I know better, I think that makes it even harder for me, reminds me of what Paul said "I do what I know I'm not supposed to and I DON'T do what I know I should" - of course that's my paraphrase ...... maybe I'll post my pics after I take em in a private album here I'll have to see how that works. . . .I'll keep you posted, if you keep us posted on how you are doing! ! ! !

MY program consists of eating 6 proteins and 6 carbs each day (1 ea 6 times a day) for 6 days, and then I weight train, cardio, weight train, cardio, weight train, cardio then on day 7 I don't do nuthin' and I eat whatever I want ;) hehehehehe

My cardio is my belly dancing - very fun but I would NEVER do it in public roflol:rofl:
