Today I visited a Church and the speaker spoke at great length about our tongue controlling our destiny. He stressed that we should be so careful what we say. He said that we pretty much willed or made true our words that we uttered. THEN, he said something that blew me outta the water. I don't even want to say what he said. Perhaps I am making more out of this than there is. Perhaps he didn't mean anything. Anyhow, I can't give you the full context even. I only remember the words "S______ is the God of the World." That bothered me when he uttered it and I told my MOM that I'd Never heard that b4 in Church. I came home and searched on Biblegateway for Biblical reference and I can't find it.
Can someone tell me if this is Biblical?????????

yes, it is true, and very biblical.

2 Corinthians 4:4
4~In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

But Satan can do no more than God allows him. He is on a chain so to speak. In Job 1we see Satan having to get permission from God before he could torment Job. Also the Lord Jesus said:

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Mat 28:18

Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords...1Ti 6:15

But, remember as Luther said, the devil is God's devil. As others have said, "Satan can do no more than what God allows him to do."

As stated in previous posts, 2 Corinthians 4:4 is where you will find SATAN as being described as the god of this world. And there is no doubt that it is he who is being reffered to. Jesus refers to him as the ruler of this world

"John 12:30-33
30 Jesus answered and said, "This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake. 31 Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. 32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself." 33 This He said, signifying by what death He would die. "
Similar titles are also attributed to him in Ephesians 6:12. But it is important to realize that the name "god" is given to him because he has the homage of the people of this world AS their god, or as the being who is really worshipped and holds the affection of their hearts in the same way it is given to idols, NOT because of any divine attributes that he has.
The terms "This world" refers to the wicked world, or the mass of people. Adam Clarke puts it this way in his commentary of the bible for 2 Cor 4:4 (this is only an etract of the whole description incidentaly)
"He rules in the hearts and lives of all wicked people—and the world is full of wicked people. They obey him, and submit to his will in executing fraud, and rapine, and piracy, and murder, and adultery, and lewdness; in wars and fightings; in their amusements and pastimes; in dishonesty and falsehood. The dominion of Satan over this world has been, and is still almost universal and absolute; nor has the lapse of 1,800 years rendered the appellation improper as descriptive of his influence, that he is the god of this world. The world pursues his plans; yields to his temptations; neglects, or rejects the reign of God as he pleases; and submits to his scepter, and is still full of abomination cruelty, and pollution, as he desires it to be."

Using the word god is a bit of an exaggeration. There is definite support for Satan being the "prince of this world"

John 12:31 - Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience

The Ephesians passage is often quoted in sermons.
