Droplets of rain,
pelt against my window pane.
I watch through a glaze of tears,
wishing you were here.

The door shut so suddenly,
that it stunned me.
Was only yesterday, I held you close.

I look up to heaven, I know you're there.
Still, I feel your spirit everywhere.

I have my memories, they rest within.
But nothing will ever be, the same again.

Thanks for sharing, I am sorry for your loss I have lost many people in my life. While I may still feel their presence/spirit as well and have memories. It hurts still even though you know they are with the lord. :hug:
