One April Morning

I recall that April morning
when I felt so lost and weak.
For as that fresh new day was dawning,
all I could do was weep.
Weep for the years I've wasted,
Weep for the years I've sinned,
Weep for the pleasures tasted,
that drove me far from Him.
Now that long gone April morn
will always stay with me,
for that's the day I was reborn
and Jesus set me free.
