I wonder why we plunder
the emptiness of this world,
To strive for meaningless treasures
"fulfillment"
or just a thrill?
Are we delicately broken
or silent in our stand,
grasping words said not spoken,
wandering this vacant land.
I wonder what will become of this
when comforts of the morning bliss
take earth in hand, the darkened night
revealing all through
glory's light.

Through loss and gain
what will remain?
Through wants and needs?
what will proceed
is love.
Through scattered hopes and
broken
dreams,
gather answered prayers,
endless
peace.

Understanding all,
Love is the softly spoken yell
of divinity
The sweetest smelling fragrance
of reality.
It is the beauty of
not body
but soul.
It longs not for
separation
but vibrancy of whole.

It binds with chains that set your free.
It calls to all for newborn life
an opportune,
a mirror of innocence,
the end of strife.
