God's good... so very good. I'm home, I was hugged and greeted by family, I'm seeing friends very soon, and it was like returning to what felt like a big hug. A huge part of me hadn't looked forward to coming back because of my broken off engagement and ex being here.... it hurt, so much... but as soon as I got back into town, saw the familiar places and people and cuddled my cat :) I was reminded of how very, very blessed I am. I have so much, family especially who have all seen me and talked with me, and I have a community here I'm a part of. I'd missed being in "my city" more than I recalled. I'll also get to spend time helping and worshiping and serving at my regular church while I'm home for these three weeks... I've REALLY missed that. :D

Some healing happened, when I got in to be greeted by people and places I love. I was reminded that if an earthly homecoming helps like this.... how much more will our coming home to God fix and heal us all one day? An awesome thought.

So, thank You Lord, for blessing me beyond measure, reminding me what counts, helping prepare my heart for Christmas, and giving me purpose in my own community again while I'm here. :hug:
