Philippians 1:20-24 (New King James Version)

20] according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21] For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22] But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. 23] For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. 24] Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.

Living With Proper Perspective

"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." Our debt of sin has been canceled. We have confidence in our eternal destination, a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe, hope in times of despair, and eternal riches in Jesus Christ that are in no way related to our current economic status. Can I get an Amen? What a blessing it is to be a part of God's family knowing that in life and death we have hope. In this present life, we have hope knowing that Jesus will never abandon us and in death we will be ushered into the presence of our great and awesome God!

FOR TODAY: Thank the Lord for the incredible blessings and riches we have in Christ!
