I'm not exactly sure where I could find a picture of it, but I was watching History channel and it showed a bible code that said "2012 an asteroid will hit Earth" basically. Do you believe these Bible Codes are true? Also in 2010 it said there will be a massive Earthquake I believe in LA they said? Anyways what do you think of these bible codes?

What I find funny is that nobody was screaming 2012 or asteroid in the 90's when the Bible Codes were super fashionable. Now that the 2012 craze has taken off... *SURPRISE!* ... a bible code "predicts" it.

And what happened to all those Y2K bible codes anyway?

It could be linked to sumerian writings which predict that 2012 will be the end if this age, which some may interpret as the end of the world?

What's is funny about this particular revolution is that it centers around the Mayan calendar. When did God team up with the Mayan's ?

The bible codes are little more than kabbalahic gematria. It's just another form of occultic numerology. It is man's attempt to know the future by delving into God's word without any real revelation and fellowship with God's spirit.
It depends on preconceived apophenia to see any pattern in the ELD sequences.

From what I recall of the Bible Code it was so vaguely defined it could be used to point to anything. Using a similar approach a researcher managed to predict the death of Diana, Princess of Wales from the text of Moby Dick.

It's easy to spot things once they have happened, or once there's a fashionable craze to fuss about them. 2012 is popping up in a few writings, and it's a lucrative bandwagon to jump on right now. Personally I suspect that December 2012 is the Mayan version of the millennium bug.

The History Channel is often (usually?) a great source of mis- and disinformation. Have you seen their shows on the Bible or Christ? They always come from a place where Scripture is NOT divinely inspired. So, in effect, they are speaking a different language.

Don't even get me started on NatGeo--which I call "The Fear of Nature Channel"...
