1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
1Co 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Gold is the Father Glory

Silver purchased through the Son

Precious Stones by the Holy Spirit

These commodities are rare in the world, and these will survive the refiners fire. They will not perish, and will receive a reward.

Wood, hay and stubble is mans own works. There is much wood, hay and stubble in the world. These things will perish in the fire, and will suffer loss.

Our works ought to be for the Father Glory, purchased through the Son, and by the Holy Spirit.

"but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

This shows that Salvation is not mans works, but God's own work. It is Gold (for His Glory), Silver (Purchased through the Son), and Precious Stone (by the Holy Spirit)

His work is tried by the fire, and it will never ever perish!

How is it that a man can build on the foundation of Jesus the Glory of the Father?:hmm:
