I was visited by the Under-Sheriff this am, and was informed that my younger sister, Georgann, was brutally murdered. I've been through 3 stages today.

1. Hearing about her death (Homicide wasn't mentioned until later in the day by the detective.)

2. The detective calling and telling me they were treating it as a homicide (They knew all along it was.)

3. How she was killed.

I am completely devistated. She was such a wonderful person ... I can't believe this has happened to our family.

Please pray for God to help me rid this awful pain in my heart, and the anger that is beginning to set in. I loved my little sister so very much, and she didn't deserve to die at age 37 ... She didn't deserve to die at all. I want the person who did this to pay for what they did

Marjie, my heart goes out to you and your family. Don't worry, revenge is that of the Lord. HE plainly tells us to let HIM handle it!!!! I pray that the Lord embrace you and give you strength through all of this. This is the very reason that our decision in accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior is so very urgent!!! God doesn't promise us tomorrow...so we best be ready all the time, at any given time to meet HIM or we won't...Amen.

Pray and give your pain to the Lord. We all need a time for mourning, so take the time you need. Then, get up and spread the Gospel and let this be a "witnessing tool" to win the lost to Christ!! I will be praying for you!

My condolences to you and your family. I pray the murderer will get caught quickly so that person can never commit such a heinous act again. No sin goes unpunished and this crime is no different. Don't be consumed by hate and anger, Marjie. The Lord's justice will prevail. It always prevails.
