Terrible news. A friend of mine took her life just this past Saturday. None of us saw its coming. There was no warning, no nothing. Please send up some prayers for her family, she was only 17, and she had a younger sister. They are all grieving as are her friends. I'm in shock right now. It was so sudden.

My prayers are going up for your friend, too....the enemy is soooo busy, and at times it seems that he is ahead in this war, but he IS NOT AHEAD, HE IS DEFEATED ALREADY!!!!

The memorial service was today. Her mom espicially is having a difficult time. She's been great though, and is actively communicating with Lauren's friends (that was my friends name.) We're all supporting each other and talking about Lauren together. It's helping.

I don't know what set her off, or if there was even a suicide note. I know she's had some issues, some of which she wouldn't tell me, but I know they were all kinds of awful. I just wished she had gotten help. :(
