Well, I will be pulling for my home state LSU Tigers. I think its gonna be CSF vs LSU in the finals with LSU squeaking out the win in three. BUT Arizona St seems to have a real good team.

Ole Miss? What about Southern Miss, they seem to have a great season going, I always like seeing a few of the smaller schools getting in the big dance.

I would love to make the trip to Omaha one day to see the CWS. Lord willing and if LSU makes it back in 2010, I may make the trek up there.

I downloaded a software program to my computer that allows me to watch the college world series live online. I use it because my work schedule varies, and there's no TV at work.
It's easy to operate and downloads very quickly. I was watching the super regionals in a matter of minutes after I got it downloaded to my pc. The only pc requirements are DSL or cable Internet and a windows operating system (sorry mac users), and it apparently works in any country.

Would love to see Arkansas win it all,since I been to some of their games,and they're close! A couple of years ago there was a petition going around to change the baseball schedule from Feburary to May to March thru June. La,Az.,Cal and Florida teams were dead set against it. This would've benifit a lot more teams.I guess they don't how it is to play baseball when it's 25 degrees outside. Since then,I lost all resepct for those power house teams. Go Hogs!

Yeah,that is true.I knew it would be hard to win after that 12 inning game on Wed. I imagine LSU will take it.

LSU wins a wild one in 11 innings against Texas. One of the best games I have ever seen.

I understand the rivalaries that exist between rival schools. I know the football history between Arky and LSU. We are gonna get that trophy back this season.;)

Arky joined the SEC in the early 90s but I think Arky used to be in the same conference as TX years ago so there was that conference rivalary between the Hawgs and the Longhorns.

BTW, TX played a great game last night winning 5-1. Now its down to one game.

Hey MaddJack, I lost track of this CWS thread but wanted to drop in and say congratulations. I made it 2 games this year(VA/CSF and VA/AR) and it was awesome, especially the 13 inning VA/ARK. It was fairly obvious going into Monday that LSU was the team to beat...and after getting shut down on Tuesday night I had a feeling they would blow up in game 3.

Of all the teams we here in Omaha would like to see make to the CWS, LSU is at the very top of the list. Once again the LSU fans showed up in droves and displayed nothing but class. Just a good hearted, fun loving down to earth group of people, and plenty of beads for everyone!

With all of the returning talent you guys have coming back I'm sure we will see you next year...and with it being the last series at Rosenblatt, it should be pretty special. I hope you make it up.

Thanks man. I have been following LSU sports for many years and I have to say that this CWS title has to be one of the most special ones. I think LSU loses some good pitching this year so it going to be hard to repeat but I think LSU has a good chance of making it back to Omaha.

I am amazed at the following that LSU has, especially all the way up in Omaha. And strange as it seems, I have never been to Omaha. One of my golfing buddies made the trip this year and he was all aglow about Omaha. Lord willing and if LSU makes it back to Omaha next year, I am hoping to make the trip up.
