I used to be a TV and game junkie as well I trained my son to follow in my foot steps now I simply cant watch anything on TV it just seems very wrong like everything is garbage. My son loves halo and stuff like that and it seems so violent I just wish we could do something else besides sit in front of the TV or play games but I do not know what to do?

Bible Study I enjoy with others I love other people points of veiws and bringing them togther to make my own veiw.
Another thing I did for the first time the other day was "Hit the Streets" I loved it was a great time walking around Minneapolis many people to meet and if they let you pray for them even better! gives you a really good sence of accoplishment.
Just a few many more that are safe and health I am sure others here will point you in the right directions where you don't need games or t.v. to enjoy your day.

Try shows like Gilligan's Island, Little House on the Prairie, Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, etc. They are a lot cleaner and no violence.

Little House on the Prairie! I grew up watching that, I still like to watch the reruns when they're on. That's definitely probably my favorite show, it's good that they believe in God and will use that in some of the episodes. The Hallmark Channel used to play it all the time, I don't know if they still do, we don't get it anymore
