I've added to my profile that I believe that salvation involves putting something down and leaving it behind.
Jesus said very clearly "go and sin no more".
Clearly, the intension is NOT for a person to go on living, thinking, acting, etc. exactly as they did before.
Yes, they will still slip up. They will still slip up BAD. That's not the same as not even TRYING.
I'm NOT talking about trying to keep salvation through works. I believe that a person can't deserve to KEEP salvation any more than they can deserve to GET it in the first place.
