Clarify afterlife is it something other than resurrection weather in Old or New Testament?
What do you mean by afterlife?
Does resurrection have anything to do with life?

I'd say it means your life after you've died to this one.

Afterlife is one of the many words we use that you won't find in Scripture.
The best way I can describe afterlife is this.
We are born, live, and die.
When we are born again, we have an afterlife. Our afterlife is eternal.

Jesus defines eternal life as "that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." in John Chapter 17. Your afterlife starts when you come to know God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Because we have eternal life from that point on, it then becomes our afterlife.

Only insofar as Jesus' resurrection has given me eternal life. My body will be raised again one day (assuming it dies), but I am and will continue to be alive for the rest of eternity.

Yes, after our flesh died the spirit will be resurrected Dan. 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awke to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

But Jesus said our eternal life (believers) has already begun. I am not real sure that allows for dirt napping.

Try not to you breath run out because it will be an afterlife, absent in flesh but present in the Lord.

Jesus gave me everlasting life - that does not mean life interrupted. Eternal means exactly that - eternal. I was born again and I will never die. I won't even take a dirt nap.

Does resurrection have anything to do with life?
Simplistically?
It's like having a car and getting all the mileage you can out of it. It dies. Then you go to a new car lot and get a new one.
Same thing, you have a body, you get all the mileage you can out of it. It dies. Then you go to the resurrection lot and pick up a new one on your way to heaven.
PS..
Jesus bought you the new one.;)

Are Enoch and Elijah living the afterlife now or they still living their original life?
Just some thoughts.

Contrast:
bios (G979) life; the period or duration of life.
zoe (G2222) life; the life element or principle of the spirit and soul.
psuche (G5590) life; literally the breath of life, soul life.
The term "afterlife" has been generally related to post-physical death in many cultures since ancient times, regardless of the religious/spiritual/metaphysical belief system. It's just not possible to relate the truth of the Gospel to such a non-biblical term; but that term refers to post-physical death.
Jesus laid down his life (G5590) that we might have life (G2222). In Christ, life (zoe G2222) represents the highest blessedness of the creature. In general, zoe life is physical life and existence as opposed to death and non-existence; specifically, it pertains also to eternal life in Christ.
"Afterlife" is a misnomer of sorts, since there IS death "after life"; but death is a widely misunderstood concept, IMHO.

When does the reality of this verse come true? But now we see not yet all things put under him. Meaning man. Well lets look to our example. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; Where was he? When was crowned with? And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. (that is your eternal life) When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
Notice it says the resurrection from the dead not the resurrection of the body.
