My name is Mike and I'm new to this board. I joined because being a new (1yr.) Christian I still have some questions that I would feel more comfortable behind the anynimity of a computer. Call me shy. When I was kid I became a christian but I had a really rough childhood. When I got older I set my faith down and started partying and doing drugs to distract myself from my childhood experience. God eventualy led me down a path where I realized I needed Him again. I was currently using New Age in my search for spirituality however nothing in that realm dealt with the issue of sin and I eventualy felt the draw of God calling me back to Him. Now since I rededicated my life to Christ a year ago I feel renewed and with a sense of purpose, though I couldn't really say what that purpose is. Thanks for letting me share my testimony.
