Hi! I am a life-long Christian and have been through quite a lot with God in my life. As a child my father was an alcoholic and passed away when I was eleven. That was followed by years of pretty bad poverty for my family. Then as an adult I was married, but my wife suffered with very difficult emotional and mental problems. After 17 years of marriage she left. I am now remarried and God is doing wonderful things in my new blended family (with my daughter and my new wife's three boys).
By profession I am a computer geek (the Technology Director for a public school district), but I have also always served in some sort of lay ministry from being a youth pastor to an adult bible fellowship leader to even an interim senior pastor.
Besides all things God and all things geek, my other big passion is writing (poetry to essays to devotionals to short stories and books). I will try to post writings as appropriate to the forums. You can see several of my writings and other creations at my blog: http://www.holygeeks.org
