It would have been "dragged out" a lot worse if the body had been preserved somewhere, believe me.
Thank God someone made the wise choice to dump the dirty remains in the sea....Even the radical Islamics are going to find it hard to disagree with a burial that is so "Islamic". :P
I personally think it should become the standard grave site for all Islamic radical terrorists.
My only reservation is the horrible thought that due to the flesh eating sea scavengers this type of Islamic trash may get into the human food chain.

Lets face reality. In the good ole days, we had local news for 30 minutes in the morning then 30 minutes in the evening. We then had national news for 30 minutes after that. We now have 24 hour news networks and talk radio networks that require 10 to 12 hours of programming per day. There Just AIN THAT MUCH TO TALK ABOUT. They spend way too much time on things that should be minor and they report things that should never be reported.

God may or may not think he was trash, but I sure think he was. He was a murdering thug who died while still planning more murders. If he is not "trash" then all the stuff in the County dump is 24K gold. The man was evil. He is dead. I am happy.

Its not like Obama just declared that the sea burial was the official story. Its the story of everyone involved in the operation from the men on the ground all the way up to the President. Some of the people in that chain may not even be democrats, or even Obama flavored democrats so its quite an act of dissonance for me to believe that many people got together and gained uniform agreement on a made up story.

What is the proof? Should Obama have put his body on public display at ground zero for everyone to come personally view? That really would not have helped me too much because I have never seen the man in person so seeing him dead and comparing him to a video image of him would have been pretty worthless to me. I work homocides quite regularly that it takes me several hours to identify people I know pretty well. People shot in the head just really do not look like themselves. I am sure the CIA could have rounded up someone who was the spitting image of Bin Laden, put a couple bullets in his face; then said we killed Bin Laden. My point is if the Govt. wanted to hoax the killing of Bin Laden, providing a body or pictures for public viewing would not have been a problem. I personally think if they wanted to hoax the killing, they would have bombed the compound to gravel and turned everyone inside into hamburger meant. Then they could have easily said "this pile of hamburger meat is Bin Laden." That way, if he ever re-appeared, they would have a good reason how it happened.

A terrorist group 'follow (believe) the commander in chief, like us."? I understand the government/all politicians lie and have lied, and have done terrible coverups(criminal behavior). I believe it is reasonably possible in this case that there is no coverup. They may have taken him prisoner and lied about it-that is a reasonble possiblity, and they would not want anyone to know about it, due to osama being rated a high value intelligence target. The untold damage already done with all the information collected in his compound, and the possibilities of what information that could be gleaned from talking to him. But, I am sure that they realized that if they brought him back that he would be entitled to a trial, and he would become an even greater symbol for his terror group, and they would probably wreak devastating , murderous, havoc to get him back. In the field he is still a legitimate combat target. Evaluating all the possiblities and outcomes, the present one presented by the administration is the best one. End it now and move on to the intelligence gathered in his compound. Besides, they already know that in the end, any intelligence gained from his mouth would not be trustworthy, even under torture. Torture can force whatever you want a person to say, but you cannot make a person tell you the truth. I would like to add, before Jesus, we were all trash just like bin laden. Reluctantly, I have to admit, he is a child of God as much as we are. I am can no longer cause distruction, but there is no joy in killing, just necessity. Remember David was not allowed to build the Temple because he was a man who shed blood in war. And David was beloved.

Whether he is alive or not is not important to me. What is important is that we either have killed him, or we have him interrogating him and will kill him when we are done. Either way, Bin Laden will never be seen again.
I would say the chances of recovering him from the depths of the ocean are about 1 in 100 trillion. I used to be on a dive team, and many times it took us days to recover bodies from small ponds. As far as ocean recovery, it is hard to find a large ship with a magnetometer and sonar. Finding a body? For all practical purposes, Impossible. People who believe that he's dead don't believe so because they just believe anything Obama says or because they need to justify what they WANT to believe or etc. They may believe it because they've thought about it and based on the evidence they see, they've decided that's what they believe to be true.

I personally think they lied about their intel, but I do not really think Obama was saving it for the election. Just a couple days before Bin Laden was killed, I heard a report from Israel about al-Qaeda. It said it had within the last few days split into two factions. The majority faction went with Bin Laden's former #2 man. About 1/3rd remained with Bin Laden, and about 20 % had not committed to either. My guess is the rival dropped the dime on Bin Laden to solidify his hold on al-Qaeda.
