1. I have an HP Desktop Hard Drive inside of a Hard Drive enclosure
2. I can view the data on it on my mac mini
Questions: What can I do to make a complete copy of the data that is on my HP Hard Drive that is inside of the Hard Drive enclosure? How can I retrieve /copy a file from this HP drive? Do I need a certain software, an external hard drive, or some sort of cable to do this?
Thanks

I did some research and I was told to do a number of confusing things.
I was told to format my hard drive.
Next I was told to clone my hard drive.
Finally I was told to just copy whatever information I wanted.
Cyber world is dangerous. One wrong move creates a loss... a loss of data.

I'm not sure what you are asking as to why you want to do this. I get the impression something happened to your computer, and you want to salvage information off of the hard drive of the dead computer (or something to that effect)?
Anyway, here's a straightforward procedure:

I say straightforward, not necessarily simple for those not familiar with opening a computer. I build our computers here so that I know what to expect inside.
I am also assuming you're using windows.
When you mentioned formatting something, I got a little concerned because you NEED an operating system to transfer the files this way. You can't, to my knowledge, have a "blank computer" and just try to transfer files that way.
