Can demons poison people and christains? people live with a sin they fight for years sticking to them unable to get rid of it.
Some do some don't...
Is this due to people being poison by demons? that continue to sin?
Since we don't have perfect bodys.
Peoples minds can be poison, there's a old saying to that.
So is the resuit of sin or to a degree, people get poison by demons to continue to sin?
People have freewill but is it the demons influence and poison that lead to on going sin over the years staying inside them that they continueing doing what they don't want to do?, like Eve being poison to eat the apple in the garden.
Or was her mind poison? at the end of the day she took the bite.
How much time did she spend thinking about it?
Any related precise verse to match this?
Yours Peter

Peter, I don't believe demons can poison us. Scripture says we choose to make ourselves slaves to the devil(Eph. 2). I do believe they can make us sick from within, as a holy spirit cannot dwell with an evil spirit.
So if we have separated ourselves to God, making our spirit holy to Him, I don't think we could suffer an evil spirit.
As for sin. Some people have sin that reoccurs because it is something they must overcome. If it is a burden, then it is their burden to bear for the Lord.:)

I think so.
I have read some of the works of the cheif exorcist from Rome, and he talked about this. Its called demonic obsession or oppression, where the person is tormented by demons in a greater or lesser degree respectively.
Teke: From what I have heard of from those who exorcise demons, Christians and non Christians alike have been oppressed/possesd etc- actually you hear about the Christian ones more, because naturally the non Christians arent going to ask a pastor for assistance...
So I would like to know, do you know of any exorcist who says he has had no Christians to exorcise?

How can a Christian who is full of the Holy Spirit be possessed by a demon?

Exorcism of Christians wasn't the question. Or I would have replied differently.
I'm in agreement with you on exorcism of Christians. Prayers of exorcism are spoken before a baptism in my faith.
I believe demon spirits are sent to try Christians. Scripture does tell us to try the spirits for they are many and are not all of God. Also Jesus allowed the devil to sift Peter, and afterward he was stronger because of it.
We are in a spiritual battle.:)

How can a Christian who is full of the Holy Spirit be possessed by a demon?
Because demons follow the devil. And their aim is to take what is holy for God and corrupt it. Same as what happened in the beginning.
One who is full of the Spirit, is one who has separated their spirit unto God, which is what "holy" means.

I understand that completely. However, being tried or tested by demonic spirits is not the same as being possessed by one. I don't believe there's a Christian out there named Legion.
When someone states that a Christian is being "exorcised", they are insinuating that this Christian is under the control of a demonic influence and they have no control over their actions . . . sort of like Legion. I don't believe this to be true of a Christian.

The way I understand it, you cannot be poisoned, possessed, or controlled by a demon if you are filled with the Holy Spirit. If you could, that would be saying that the devil possess the same amount of power as the Holy Spirit, which I don't think any of us agree with.
Plus, let us remember that there are no Biblical accounts of the exercising of demons of Christians, only non-Christians. Now, I understand that this does not completely rule out the possibility, but it just does not make sense to me that you could.
EDIT: I guess this could bring up the arguement of dichotomy(body and soul) and trichotomy(body, soul, and spirit). There are passages in the Bible that say both.

Well, there are different understandings of this. There are those who see demon possession as the Exorcist movie portrayed it. Thing is, that it is not that obvious usually. Especially when it is a Christian.
I believe it also depends on the persons view and understanding, as to how they are discerning. I also believe one can tell better, when the spirit is confronted, by the holy.
For instance. A woman comes to church and tells the priest she has a demonic spirit tormenting her. The only earthly manifestation is a disease, say like cancer. At this point no one can really tell if this is a natural thing or spiritual. But, if the woman is confronted by a priest with prayers and the demon speaks to the priest in an ugly manner, which is not the norm of this woman. It is a pretty good bet she has a demon tormenting her. As the spiritual is manifesting the spiritual.
Here (http://youtube.com/watch?v=edBpHgTPAQU&mode=related&search=) on YouTube are examples. This one is Christians in the Russian Orthodox Church in Russia.
Father Makari Yunan's exorcisms
http://youtube.com/watch?v=1HjeyxnvvuQ&mode=related&search=
I've seen many of Fr. Makari's exorcism's in the Muslim country. If they are Christians already or not, I do not know. But he walks among them and when the demons manifest themselves, he does an exorcism of them.
One thing I agree on, is the demons can't stand anything holy.:saint:

I have known many sources who errantly make synonymous chemicals such as nicotine, heroin, alcohol, caffeine, and such physically addictive substances to be synonymous with evil spirits.
Chemicals are like rocks or idols made of stone they can't move, think, speak, hear or see so they have no "will" or inherent "power" and these things disrupt the body solely by chemistry and chemical reactions.
Evil spirits on the other hand are living entities that can move, think, speak, hear and see.
The inanimate and the animate.

If you are right with God, and living in the Word they can't possess you. But unsaved people are definitely at risk.
Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The radical interpretation of this has gone a long way to pervert biblical doctrine.
So far none of them have been authentic. Exposed as frauds, hundreds of them and still counting.
Then there are those that temp God to keep them safe as they stick their rears in the fire and dance with rattle snakes.
