This past weekend was a weird one for us weather wise. Saturday was beautiful - sunny, no humidity, in the 70's. Sunday it was in the 80's, humid. Waking up yesterday morning I started out in shorts, tshirt and barefoot and graduated to pants and socks and eventually a fuzzy warm sweater. So much is popping up these days about the state of the American/western church. It's not kind stuff, and the weight seems to be placed squarely on the shoulders of the leaders. Many are disappointed and angry at these pastors, elders and leaders. Granted, they are supposed to lead us, no? Indeed, they are and they will have to give account some day. Those who are leaders who lead astray are in a grave situation. Like that guy in Florida who claim to be Christ, here on earth, the second coming. ...

I was wondering that myself around 7 this morning. On my way to work I was driving along and up ahead of me I look and see what at first I thought were really big dogs or miniature ponies. Then a bunch more shuffled up onto the roadway. Out loud I said "IT'S SHEEP!" I slowed down, and they moved off the road and toward the railroad tracks (good thing - that's so much better than the highway ) before I was close to hitting one of them.
