  1. Internet Hypocrisy validated by Country Music

I don't usually listen to country music. Why? Well because! Is that sufficient?

I was surfing the car radio for some good Christmas music when I stumbled upon a song by a Parsley dude. What caught my attention is how his song talks about that he is only 5'3", stuby, greasy haired but that he could easily hide his identity from the world on the internet. He makes himself to be a 6'5"-Tall, dark and handsome. How he loves to do a threesome online in a chat with two other women.

  2. My wife has all the brains

My wife came up with the greatest idea for Christmas. It's taken me a few weeks to digest but I am wholeheartedly in agreement.

She suggested a few weeks ago not to do the traditional gift thing. Instead she got the kids to agree to have an open house and had out leaflets at the local Salvation Army for those interested to just pop by for some finger food and hot cider.

  3. Blame it on the enviroment

Well not to sound controversial but I think the debate and discussions on the environment are just outrages. To top it off, Al Gore has opened his mouth again and blames his country for today's problems.

But we are not to forget that "the earth is Lord's and everything within it is the Lord's" Let's not ...

  4. Political Correctriveness gone amuck

For the last few years, political correctiveness seems to proliferate more so during the Christmas Holidays. How many of us have heard or read about the removal of the words "Merry Christmas": only to be replaced by words like "Happy Holidays" or the "Festive Tree".

But a new twist is happening lately and it is a political attack on anything Christian. For instance, police chaplians who can no longer wear crosses on their lapels or pastors being imprisoned for preaching at a corner ...

  5. Elderly Folks

This morning I took a flight from the wet coast to visit my frail daddy on the east coast. This is my third such trip in as many months. I figure I may as well use up those frequent flyer points.

I wonder how many of us are in the same predicament wheerby we live far away from or elderly moms and/or dads? do you feel as guilty as I do for being so farf away?

Both my sister and brother are living in the US and Europe respectively and they are as worried about them as ...
