So this is pretty sobering, in Mark 11:25-26, Jesus says the following:
"if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."
The first question that may come to mind is "so I thought I was saved by grace, not by having to forgive people". You are correct, forgiveness is a fruit of a true conversion,
Lord, let me forget about what I want to do, let me focus on what you want and have purposed to do through me by your spirit. Amen
A lot of evil has been done in the name of Christianity by the hands of hypocrites wielding the faithfully ignorant. "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15

Just as he rejected Abraham's son Ishmael (the product of the flesh) as heir by referring to Isaac as his "one and only son", God will burn up our works done in the flesh like kindling and reward those done in the spirit with everlasting jewels.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anything we do that is not by faith is sin. It is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” Therefore, by faith, His children are being transformed into the image and glory of His one
Righteousness is not looking down on others, it is looking up to God.
God has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, by becoming sin for us. By receiving the atoning work of his sacrifice, we become the righteousness of God, having been made pure and thus able to stand in the presense of a Holy God.
