One of my students decided to write during free choice time today. She wrote this on her own and then gave it to me at the end of the day as a gift. I thought it was so sweet (and good too!!)
Dear Angel sent from Heaven above
Your eyes are so filled with love,
Shining down like a twinkling star,
Protecting me, from where you are
To way down here where I am
Helping me whenever you can.
Okay. Here they are. I am writing them down somewhere where I know I won't lose them and I can look at them throughout the year to remind myself and keep myself on track. Here we go....
1. Put God first - every time.
2. Read through the Bible again.
3. Work on my "tongue issues" (Read from the book of James about controlling your tongue.)
1. Exercise everyday... even if only a little bit
I haven't updated my blog in quite awhile... so here are some updates.
Mom: Mom is on a different type of chemo now. This one is much better on her than the first. Before she was having more bad days than good... now she's having more good than bad, but the bad are still here. Thanks to all who have been praying for her, and please continue.
Me: My life is crazy. Since I am a teacher, I do have the summer off... but I am working a job 5-6 days a week to earn some

Oh my goodness. I will be so glad when school is out. I have so much stuff going on. The end of school gets so crazy anyways. I believe I have 2 or 3 more real teaching days where our schedules aren't completely abnormal... and one of those is today. We have 9 1/2 more school days. It's going to be wild.
I got a new study Bible today (the one I had mentioned in a thread in Anything Goes). I have started reading it and I like all the extra footnotes and points to ponder it has. It also places a special emphasis on apologetics.
