Hi, I first want to say perhaps you did disobey in not fasting but at the same time I think it's wrong to blame yourself for the evil actions and decisions of others. Maybe I'm being bias in my opinion here having not been directly effected by 9/11 but still how can you be certain the fasting would have prevented what happened? Perhaps it was more to comfort those that would get caught up in it; those lives directly affected by the the horrible thing those people did. Don't wear this burden. Once I'm finished responding I'll say a pray for you that God comforts you concerning this problem and the false prophet one.

Speaking of false profits. Yes, I'll even name one Jack Van Impe... Impe as in imp meaning tiny demon.. but I'm just joking he can't help his name. So anyway moving on with my point. Do you remember all the uproar of Y2K?(A lot of media incited panic over nothing) I didn't trust his "lessons" already and I really couldn't stand listening to him when all that was going on. Yammering about Satan taking over the world through computers. Yada yada. He's just one prime example. Not saying they all are but a lot of these big time preachers leave much to be questioned concerning the messages they're spreading around. No need to rattle on about that (that's what my journal if for if choose to do so), so moving on.

I'm not trying to put down what you said but bear in mind the punishment David suffered when he fornicated with Bathsheba and what he did to her husband. The baby he had by her suffered horribly from sickness then died as his his punishment. It's a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Lord... I'm in no way saying the person or people that caused such havoc in your life and walk with God are right or correct in anyway in what the said to you but just reminded that if you have been the child of a parent or are a parent that implements spanking as punishment then you know it hurts and depending your butt will be soar for a bit. I don't think it'd be any different if that's how God decides to deal with us in order to correct us- it's gonna hurt. Still, like you said you will know when something is from God...
