This is one of my greatest pet peeves and is a prevalent attitude I see in the world. Ornamental children. People that want to have children to 'fluff' out their own lives. People that have gotten their careers where they want them, got the house, the cars, etc., etc., and decide it's time to have kids so their own life goals will be complete.

Somehow it by-passes them that children must be raised! Children need our devotion minute by minute. We must devote ourselves to love them ...
