  1. International China Concern

    My trip to China.

    Well, let me first say how much I enjoyed China. It’s hard to compare it with Canada since they are so vastly different in their own ways, one neither better, but just different. I flew into Hong Kong which involved a 13 hour flight, 100% of which was spent 37,000 ft in the air with the cloudless sky blaring the raging sun the whole trip. It was basically sunny till 5AM for me. Then I met up with Caroline (who was on the same flight) and we trained to the Hotel. ...

    (g) We have our being in him.
    (h) But as the Father is called Lord, so is the Son therefore God: therefore this word "one" does not regard the persons, but the natures.

  4. The Gardener

    The Gardener
    I have a little garden, hedged in by a wall
    Protected from the elements from winter until fall;
    Whenever I've a little time I like to sit therein
    Basking in the sunshine - especially in spring.

    I often use my rake and shears to trim and keep it clean
    Snipping here and cutting there; weeding in between;
    Planting, mowing, trimming, sowing; my

  5. A Bruised Reed

    This poem is based on Matthew 12:20 “A bruised reed He will not break, a smoldering wick He will not quench.”

    A Bruised Reed
    Sinner, you need not despair
    God is merciful and fair
    Lift your eyes; behold the Lord
    Read and stand upon His Word.

    God won't break a reed that's bruised
    No longer will you stand accused
    If true repentance
