    First, there is Spanish Spanish, as in Spanish as spoken by Spaniards. It's somewhat different than Latin American Spanish. Of course, Latin American Spanish itself is further broken down into various varieties.

    From what I understand, even within Spain, there are different dialects of Spanish Spanish, such as Castilian, Andalusian, Extremaduran, etc.. Reportedly, Castilian is one of the most famous dialects.

  5. Indians in general

    I mean Indians in the sense of indigenous peoples of the Western Hemisphere.

    I've been attempting to familiarize myself with the names of all Indian tribes. This is difficult, because there are probably thousands of them. Also, many of them have multiple names.

    There are larger groupings such as:

    the Northwest Coastal tribes, which includes the Kwakiutl, Bella Bella, Bella Coola, Salish, Tlingit, etc.
