The path is narrow, bumpy and rough
You're swimming against the tide
And many's the time you will fall off
This roller coaster ride
There's times of sorrow, times of joy
Life certainly isn't boring
You wish that life would settle down
So you could stop this goring.
Hey, guys, it's me, Dana, and, I have some exciting news to tell you about this holiday season:
I have a new outlook on life this wonderful holiday season. Why, and, what is this new outlook I have? Why: Because I am not going to let anything get in the way of me living this wonderful life GOD has planned for me.
Why do I have this new outlook on life: Because GOD has started to instill it in me that I can't let life bring me down. I can't sit here, and, wallow
"Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:10-11).
St. Nicholas should be an inspiration to us all. He was a godly man whose reputation for giving to people caused him to be a revered example of what compassion and giving are all about. He was not a jolly, fat man who climbed down chimneys and he didn't have flying reindeer!
With elbows pumping to and fro
You’re going nowhere very fast
On the treadmill of the world
But you’re bound to come in last
For the finish line is endless
You will never reach that rope
If you run on earthly octane
The prize of life will be a hope.
Step down off that moving
So a guy had a seizure at our Celebrate Recovery service tonight!
It was a new guy, one I hadn't seen before. He was just chilling on the front row when Steve was teaching the lesson. I didn't notice anything but the woman who was with him nudged my mom to help her carry him outside. So she did, and when the service was over, Mom came back in and announced that the guy had had a seizure so we had to stay in the gym until the ambulance showed up. I felt really sorry for the guy.
