  1. James...part 9

    Temptation and a Crown

With verse twelve, we reach a point that looks backwards and forwards in the letter. It looks back to verse two and the command to joyfull endure trials so that our faith can be grow and be strengthened. If we don't understand the situation, we should seek the wisdom that God freely gives. But, the one praying must really believe that God will give him what he asks for. 2. When is due time for reaping?

The other day, I learned some things from reading what Paul wrote in Gal. 6:6 and the context:

    Gal. 6:6-10
6 The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.

One of the changes in the eye caused by aging is a decrease in rods (but not cones). If you don't have enough rods, you need an object to be lit up more ...

  5. The "end times"--why do we study it?

Our Savior Christ Jesus has proclaimed many things concerning the "end times"--and He has proclaimed them to inspire faith in our lives.

    An example:
    John 6:35-40
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.
36 “But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe.
37 “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes
