I was Reading the magazine headlines while standing in line at the grocers...ever notice how every week or every month these rich and famous people seem to have some new wonderful thing that turns into some new drama the following week? They have money, power, and beauty or at least access to a good plastic surgeon, and can buy beauty if need be. Purchasing for themselves every new gadget out there, all the name brands, even have clothes designed especially for themselves. They travel the world ...

In Minnesota and several nearby states, there were Lutheran churches every several blocks. I'm not exaggerating. I'd never seen that many Lutheran churches in my whole life, before I went on this trip.

This has gotten me interested in the history of Lutheranism.

From what I've heard, Martin Luther had been Roman Catholic, decided that Roman Catholicism needed reforming, and eventually concluded that Roman Catholicism was unreformable.

I've been called too radical, or over the top, even naive or just plain wrong. Why? Because I felt lead to go out with a picket sign with scripture on it.
