In what sense has death been abolished?

Well, how is death abolished anyway?

When Jesus abolished death, He simply "cheated" it by rising from the dead to immortality. Thus, Christ is the only one in "this" age that has abolished death in this specific manner--and for all men.

The notion that Christ is now immortal is taught indeed in I Tim. 6:

So, Moses and God are having a discussion on the mountain side, and Moses is really reluctant to do what God wants him to do.
