Eschatology

  1. " . . . of tares and wheat . . ."

Let's look again at the "tares and wheat" parable and its interpretation:

    Matt. 13
24a Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared . . .

    Stop right there.

Is not Jesus speaking about what the kingdom of heaven can be compared to?

Indeed, he is describing the kingdom of heaven in the parable itself.

And so, the Kingdom of heaven is a DOMAIN over which the

  2. . . . of the "unholy trinity" and the second death . . .

It appears that the second death is spiritual separation from God for all eternity.

And there is torment and punishment in that place forever; thus, it is not a "cessation" from existence at all for the participants. And remember, forever is a mighty looooooong time, yes?

So now, let's look at the fate of the "unholy trinity" and so on in Rev. 20:10. Notice that the fate of the "unholy trinity" is linked to the fate of ...
  3. . . . of the beast, harlot, and physical death . . .

One of the critical aspects of the "millennium" has to do with the beast in this verse:

    Rev. 20
4Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with

  4. Death . . . and the "postmillennial" Return of Christ

Now, if Christ's Second Coming is "postmillennial" and so on, then that would mean that DEATH is everywhere on earth before He returns. In other words, that's what the "millennium" is about--DEATH.

Indeed, DEATH is the "last" enemy that Christ is currently ruling over as King right NOW during our current age:

    I Cor. 15
23But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming,

  5. The souls of martyrs . . . what do they really want?

Let's look closely at what the souls of martyrs are really asking for in Rev. 6:
    Rev. 6
    9When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained;
10and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging . . .
    Stop right there.

The souls are asking about when ...
