In what sense has death been abolished? Well, how is death abolished anyway? Let's see . . . When Jesus abolished death, He simply "cheated" it by rising from the dead to immortality. Thus, Christ is the only one in "this" age that has abolished death in this specific manner--and for all men. The notion that Christ is now immortal is taught indeed in I Tim. 6: I Tim. 6 13 I charge ...
Recently, I have been thinking about Herod's temple and "the great tribulation" as mentioned by Jesus Christ in Matthew 24. It seems to me that Jesus is recorded as speaking to the disciples of that day in the applicable passages below: Matt. 24:15-21 15 “Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then those who are in Judea must ...

(Otherwise, why is it in the Bible to start with?) And ...

My desire is that instead of taking my word for it, this article would encourage you to compare the Scriptures to each other and pray and see if you come to the same conclusion. The Bible tells us that we won't know the day or hour of the rapture (Matt. 24:36), but just a couple ...
