These are the seperate units of the armour of God.

1. Loins girt about with truth
2. Breastplate of righteousness
3. Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace
4. Shield of faith
5. Helmet of salvation
6. sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Now, I will try to keep it simple, hope you are able to follow.

You will see that 2 and 5 I sort of seperate from the rest, I will get to them after I explain the other 4.

But there is Someone knocking

So I've been looking for a new church. Basically I really don't fit in with my home church. There aren't that many people there my age, and the ones who are there all grew up together. I usually feel a lot like an outsider when I'm at church.

I've been checking out the church that runs the counseling ministry I go to. It's pretty nice. It's non-demoniational charismatic, so they're pretty enthusiastic about worship. But it's cool. The people are all really friendly.

But ...

As I look around it is hard to see Christ anywhere.

Where is Christ today.....in the chruch houses, in the family, in people, where is Christ?

I am not talking about feel good, I gave at chruch on Sunday Christ...I am talking about saving people from hell Christ.

We find ourselves alone in our quest for Christ. he tells us to forsake all...and it seems in our case this has been true.
