  1. Final thoughts on Paul's life in Acts

    We have been studying the Book of acts and we are at the end of the book. Knowing what we now know about Paul I ask you, ďWould you be willing to get in the boat with Paul and go with him to Rome?Ē Consider that Paul by Acts 27 has been shipwrecked 3 times (2 Cor 11:15). Every town Paul has gone to since his conversion he has had his life threatened. He was stoned and left for dead outside Lystra (Acts 14:19). By the end of his 3rd journey the town of Ephesus had rose up against him and he was encouraged ...

    The bible said that the wages of sin is death. Physical death is the absence of consciousness and sentience notably on the mortal, but spiritual death has more far reaching implications. On this side of the spectrum, the atheist and other non-Christ believersí fear of death is limited to the expiration of the mortal body. 3. Oh Enemy Mine!

    The following poem was inspired by Protective Angel's post titled 'Oh, my enemy, don't you know'.

    He provides and He protects;

    And release captured living things.

    If I could swim the roaring seas
    And speak the language of the trees,

    True hope to lost souls I can bring;
    On eagles' wings I'll soar up high
    And shout His

  5. Too Much Sugar! (a children's poem)

    Too Much Sugar!
    (a children's poem)

    Last night I had a fluffy dream
    Of chocolate cake and pink ice-cream;
    Of lollypops and colored sweets;
    Of licorice and sug’ry treats.

    So when I woke I asked my mom
    For a very tidy sum;
    She handed me a brand new note
    And I put on my gloves and coat.

    I hurried to the candy store
    And bought a bag of eat s’mores,
    Which I promptly gobbled down -
    Ignoring the
