I think this is the first blog I've posted on this subject.

I've done research on Scientology for years now. I now strongly suspect that L. Ron Hubbard didn't himself believe in Scientology. I think he may have believed in SOME PARTS of what it teaches, but I seriously doubt he believed in the ENTIRE religion.

I'm not advocating harassing or persecuting Scientologists.

It seems to be useful to identify an assumption about the temple vision of Ezekiel 40-48.

Indeed, there seems to be an assumption by many that Ezekiel says that a new temple will be rebuilt.

The assumption goes something like this: since those 8 chapters of Ezekiel 40-48 are there (and a temple is mentioned in those chapters) then that temple has to be built.

(Otherwise, why is it in the Bible to start with?)
