Sun, 12 Feb 2012 13:03:54 GMT Sometimes I just have to let it out or I'll burst!! Praise God, He is sooooooooooo glorious!! Just a glimpse of Him, makes my heart soar!! Just a touch and this earthen vessel is overwhelmed!! Before I even got out of bed this morning, He filled me afresh!! I woke as I often do with a worship song in my head. As I began to ponder it's words, I felt His glorious Spirit rise within me!! I lay there worshipping our awesome God with tears running down my cheeks!! Oh how amazing He is, sometimes He leaves me thinking, who am I that He is mindful of me???? Why does He lavish such attention on a little dust bunny like me?? I am so lowly and He is so great!! I'm in awe of this glorious God who loves us this much!! :pp:pp

I want there to be more words that describe Him in the English language!! The words I have are so inadequate!!!! I want to rant about how amazing He is, but no words do Him justice!!

I am hooked, I want more of Him, He is my joy, my peace, my all!!!He makes me feel so alive!! I praise you Lord!! I never want to stop, for you are worthy of so much more than I can give!!!!

If what I'm saying is alien to you, then know that if you seek Him, He will be found!! Know that His desire is to draw you closer, to reveal Himself to you!! :pp

Wed, 08 Feb 2012 12:33:34 GMT I cannot tell you how much this truth has changed my perspective and my walk!! It's breath taking!! When scripture tells us He is our refuge, or hiding place. When it talks about us resting in the shadow of the most High, it's not some vague thing it's speaking of. When trials and tribulation comes, there is refuge from the storm, if we only lay down our troubles and anxieties, and worship this God who holds us in the palm of His hand!

I asked the Lord to show my a song, if there was one, that spoke about this very verse. That day, I walked into our local Christian book store, and this was playing! I stood awe struck in the middle of the shop with tears running down my face!! It was wonderful, because people were wondering why I was in tears, and I got to share with them! I wasn't the only one who bought a Selah c.d with the song on it that day!



This song is so special to me! Years later, I still cry when I listen to it! Oh how I wish I had understood this simple truth from the beginning! Praise is the gateway to peace, Worship takes us to the Living Waters,Water restores our soul and gives us rest! It washes all our worries and cares away,and allows to focus fully on His goodness, His mercy, His breath taking love!! To know Him is to want to know Him more!! :pp

Seek Him and He will be found, draw near and He will draw near to you! What a glorious promise! What a wonderful God!!!

Tue, 07 Feb 2012 11:49:45 GMT I have never blogged before and I hope I'm doing it right, but I just need to rant about the love we have in Jesus our glorious Saviour!! :pp

His love is the grace we need to overcome everything that comes against us. His love is what we need to turn from our sin. The fountain of love that pours out from heaven is the power of the Christian walk.

As I spend time in the prayer forum and counselling forum, I see that this truth is easily missed. So many hurting Christians,so much tribulation. This life is far from easy, but it's in these times we need to look to Jesus, it's then that it's His will that you be engulfed in His glorious love! I wrote this on a thread today, and it's worth repeating here.

Praise God for His abundant mercy and peace! During a time of great trial and tribulation a few years ago, the Lord gave me Acts 16:25. I was in constant pain physically and everything that could go wrong in my life was happening. It was a dark, scary time, but my brother, when I did just as Paul and Silas did, my chains fell off!! When I praised Him in that storm, when I worshipped through the pain, everything changed! I went from feeling physically and mentally tortured by pain,grief,stress and worry, to resting in His glorious presence! I stopped pleading desperately for the Lord to change my situation, and started rejoicing that He could help me rise above it! I remembered that the Lord uses everything for my good! I remembered that He was holding me, and He would do great and mighty things through my situation!! It changed my walk with Him forever!!

I have walked through much tribulation, in fact I could rant about it, but I'd rather rant about the God who did just as He promised! I rather declare to anyone reading this, that He is able to raise you higher than that situation your in!! There is power in that so called bad situation. A broken heart offered up in praise to God, is something our glorious Lord will not resist! Worship Him with tears running down your face if you have to, reject what you see in the flesh, and focus on what you see in the Spirit!! He really will only allow what is good for us, for in the hard times, He is bringing us closer, and revealing Himself!

Seek Him my brother or sister, for He will raise you high above these temporary trials. Let the pain you feel draw you into His arms! My trial have not came to and end, for tribulation is never far from our door, but our merciful Lord has shown me what I must do. I take my eyes of my problems, my sickness, my stress, and I lay them at the cross. I worship our Lord in Spirit and in truth, through the pain, through the grief if I have to, for there is rest in that glorious place :pp

All honor, glory and praise to our merciful Father and glorious Lord Jesus!! :pp

May our awesome Lord open your heart to His all surpassing love, and may you worship Him n the heavenlies! :pray: :kiss:
