My first steps

Well, I mentioned Revelation 21:7 tonight in a post and that reminded me I'd begun an endeavor to write about how God had led me to where I am now as far as living an overcoming life is concerned.
I'm going to write and try not to be preachy.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things and I will be his God and he shall be my son. (Rev. 21:7)
That was the first verse God showed me that day he changed my theological thinking.
I saw that there will be those who overcome. Then I asked the question, What will happen to those who don't overcome?
I saw that answer in 22:11. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
God showed me that if we didn't overcome then we were destined to suffer.
Rev. 22:15 says, For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
If we enter into God's eternity unprepared then we will have our part with those who are without.
Without is the opposite of within. Within is in the new Jerusalem. Without would be outside the new Jerusalem.
God showed me that as a believer who is in Christ, I had the responsibility to overcome sin, Satan and the world.
Let me add, God provides the way. He don't tell us we have to do something then expect us to do it ourselves. He is our life.
I will write more later.
