Life - Liberty - and the Pursuit of Sanity

Yeah I know the title could be misleading however given the fact that I really haven't slept much in the past week I thought it rather clever....

I haven't logged in, in a while because my life has been anything but normal....

Currently I'm in South Carolina, been here since Sunday/Monday (can't really remember) my brother-in-law, Timothy was in a car accident last weekend and is still in critical condition.

Medical Status as of this morning:

Paralyzed from the chest down, pneumonia, bed sores have begun to develop and get infected, he has a blood virus and is on life support and has not woken up.

Family status:
He has two small children by two different women who DO NOT get along. The brother and sister (my niece and nephew) are hardly ever permitted to play together...

My mother in law is in the middle of all this and there is a history of substance abuse by everyone involved (contributed) to the accident.

Prayer Requests:

1) Timothy would wake up and realize that this is NOT the end of his life. His children need him!!
2) Mary (mother) would realize that alcohol will only make things worse
3) The two "melissa's" - kids mom's both named melissa - would grow up and put aside their differences and realize that this is NOT about them!!!
4) That God would cover them with His love and send his spirit of peace!

Ok I know I blogged this but I need to put it in the prayer forum too.
