XFCE is a desktop for Linux, there are a few GNOME, KDE, XFCE and some more. XFCE is a lightweight Desktop Environment meaning that it can be used for older computers.
So I downloaded PCLinuxOS LXDE and decided to try and install XFCE on it through the Software Repository, so far it's good but Firefox seems a bit jerky when I am scrolling.
I might use another Distribution called Linux Mint XFCE which is a distribution with XFCE already set up and based on Ubuntu. I think I will start to explain things more to you all in future post so no one feels lost.
