Three visitors
waking at my usual time on Sunday the
words came to me,
That it would be advisable to stay home
from Church to-day.
So thinking to my self, while still being on
antibiotics it seemed like a good idea, but
my Wife had set her heart on going, so
it seemed only right to make the effort
and go.
It reminded me of the story related to us
years ago how the Pastor would feel so ill
before going to Church, it took him a great
deal of effort not to stay home.
So of we went, sitting in the Church at
first, the feelings to walk out were strong.
But we resisted our feelings and stayed,
The whole experience was most enjoyable
and spiritually uplifting, to a point were
one had received healing and had been
revitalized.
We talked and said hello to lot s of people
we new, and that particular day there was
a Christening taking place.
Sitting right in front of us was one of my
Wife s Face book friends with her two
children, who was visiting with the
Christening group. What a wonderful
witness my Wife was, by just being there.
The next day our friend was coming for
lunch and arrived Just after ten am, her
Husband had died in May of this year,
After an episode of his C.O.P.D.
(Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
We were very comfortable on our friend
visiting, there was no apprehension at all,
it was like we had never been apart for so
long, probably a couple of years or so. We
were having one of our favorite meals
spaghetti bolognese, we did enjoy it and
we listened to what our friend had to say,
because she needed to express her feelings
to her Special friend, Brenda, My Wife.
That was really kind of her to say that.
The next day a lady was coming from
Leicester to do an interview on
COPD for a Pharmaceutical company. It
also Involved doing a diary for a three
week period, having completed one week
already, it had a customized me to the
Interview Somewhat.
In two of the section s of the dairy they
asked for a picture to be drawn to show
how the condition made me feel, Thinking
for a while I drew a Cross and attached a
copy of the blog,
“ would you think less of me for my lack
of wisdom”
In the interview it was asked, what does
this represent, (by the way the interview
was being Recorded and filmed.)
Then explaining that the cross represented
Life and Jesus had died on the cross, so
our sin s could be forgiven.
So this was an opportunity to speak of
being healed by the Lord.
My medication had to be recorded each
day in the diary. There are three inhalers to
take on a regular basis every day, so the
second picture was, a rectangle, with the
numbers 1,2,3, spaced evenly across the
width of the rectangle.
1 was gold for the Father,
2 was purple for the Son, and
3 was White for the Holy Spirit
(rectangle red)
Saying to the Lady who asked for an
explanation, I put the names underneath
so as you would not mistake the drawing
to represent my three inhalers.
This is where my Hopes lay, In the Trinity.
John 14:22-23 (KJV)
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord,
how is it that thou wilt manifest
thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a
man love me, he will keep my words: and
my Father will love him, and we will come
unto him, and make our abode with him.
The interview went very well and it
seemed the Lady enjoyed it very much.
I have talked about three visitors
Who was the first Visitor? Alan.![]()
