I wrote up the notes from the Bible Study this past Sunday. Here is a portion about deliverance that I spoke and decided to drop into a blog entree.

>> We want to overcome any of the sin in our life, temptation is placed before us and some fall into it and sin. We all seem to know what the word, “deliverance” means. However, Christians tend to utilize that word in what I refer to as, “Christianese”. Some throw the word, “deliverance” all around and they truly don’t know what it is, or means. They have a concept, they want to be “delivered” because that means… FREEDOM. However, there are steps you have to take and responsibility of action to ACHIEVE that deliverance!!! One of the steps you have to take is to BE DAILY in the Word of God. When this is done, then the Word of God leads to the understanding and knowledge required for the RENEWING of your mind. Once this renewing of the mind has been accomplished by the Word of God, then God can WORK in us and bring about the internal change and CLENSING needed for us to BE FREE and we are delivered of oppression. This is by the understanding and knowledge of HOW the Lord will work in our lives, we trust this knowledge and we allow God the FREEDOM to do this work in us. <<
