From what I've been able to figure out, Assyria and Babylonia were both in what was called Mesopotamia.

From what I can tell, Mesopotamia was approximately where Iraq now is.

I've read about something called the British Mandate Of Mesopotamia. From what I've read, it existed in the 20th century. It wasn't during ancient times.

I've read about something called the Arab Federation Of Iraq And Jordan. From what I've read, it sounds like it only existed during 1958.

The thing that strikes me about all this is, countries/nations and nationalities come and go.
