At this point, I am just plain... frustrated. Muscle building is going very slowly. I am realizing more and more that I made a lot of serious mistakes back in the late 1990's/early 2000's. I am really regretting some of those mistakes now.
I'd like to give you a little advice. I was a very serious lifter for years and also involved in various other types of bodybuilding exercise as well. You will do yourself a huge disfavor if you do not strengthen your core muscles and do a more full body centered workout when starting out. Even if you used to lift if it's been a few years since you've done it you can really get yourself out of wack and suffer for it in the long run. Strengthen your core and start a good cardio routine is my advice. Then after you have a good foundation you should move on to more isolated workouts.
The way I wrote this blog was kind of confusing. When I was referring to having made serious mistakes, those didn't involve muscle building. I was posting about two different subjects.
Don't live in regret. Today is a new day and today you will do things differently and the outcome will be what your working towards!
